Nazirul is experienced in handling complex civil disputes that often involve an international element. He acts for a range of clients from private individuals to commercial entities. He is skilled in preparing wills, powers of attorney and setting up trusts, particularly where clients require protection of assets in situations where members of their family are vulnerable. He is also knowledgeable in complex immigration issues and false imprisonment matters. His recent highlights include: • Negotiating and successfully achieving an enforced verbal agreement between parties • Challenging a commercial landlord’s eviction notice, reaching a settlement between parties and securing a commercial lease extension for the client without the Court’s involvement • Successfully negotiated and achieved a settlement in an Employment Tribunal claim for an employer • Assisted a client with a history of 10 years overstaying in the UK by securing a Home Office fee exemption and obtaining a visa with recourse to public funds under private life in the UK • Successfully helped a vulnerable client in setting aside an immigration tribunal decision and had the appeal allowed via a paper hearing • Made successful applications under the new EU Settlement Scheme for extended family members of EEA Nationals who are born in the UK.
