Towhid works within the Public, Immigration and Family law departments and has dealt with many high profile political asylum cases from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Syria. He also dealt with cases from India, Pakistan, Nepal and African countries.

Towhid particularly specialises in asylum support and accommodation, human trafficking and modern slavery matters. He has shown a keen interest in ETS deception, unlawful detention and deportation matters. 

Additionally, Towhid has volunteered with the Refugee Council as part of their Refugee Advice Project. He has also undertaken a placement with North Kensington Law Centre and shadowed several renowned barristers at No5 Chambers. He is a member of Amnesty International and Liberty and is involved in a range of pro-bono and social work. 

Towhid is a highly efficient person who takes his job earnestly at all times. He is a supportive and easy-going person to work with and maintains good working relationships with his clients.
